As days dissolve and future generation starts indulging in national level activities, they starts to feel the need the power of voting. The main point in here is a voter should be enough matured rather than young energetic. The average voting age across the world varies from 16 to 22. A nations education level and it's economical progress will play a vital role in deciding it's voter age. A highly developed country usually have a voters at pretty young age itself. A backward under developed country needs voter who have pretty sound mind. Just because someone pay tax doesn't mean he holds right to vote. He is paying tax Coz he is allowed to work. Tax is the favor he return to his country for those so many helps he got from little age. As national education level increases, the voters age will usually be reduced. For example voting age in India was 21. But after 1989 it was reduced to 18 knowing the need of participation of younger intellects in active politics.
