Each of them could travel on foot at 5 m.p.h.; each of them could skateboard at 9 m.p.h.; and each of them could cycle at 15 m.p.h. Neither the skateboard nor the bicycle could carry more than one person; but each could safely be left unattended by the roadside (they are very honest in those parts). The three of them left the museum together, at the last possible moment; the three of them arrived together just in time for their 3:00 appointment. At what time did they leave the museum?

Since all of them leave Museum at same time and reach at the same time, it means

1. All of them used all the transportation means for same amount of time

2.All of them used all the transportation means for same distance

It means all of them trvael 3 miles on foot, 3 miles on bicycle and 3 miles on skateboard

so total time taken = 3/5*60 + 3/9*60 + 3/15*60 minutes = 36+20+12 = 68 minutes = 1 hour 8 minutes

so all of them left museum at 1:52
