There is a correlation between behavior and learning challenges and the situation of hunger.

Include the null hypothesis and the research hypothesis.

Mention Type I & Type II errors.

Include your prospective population and sample. Include validity and reliability concerns.

Explanation / Answer

The Null hypothesis is,

Null hypothesis, the correlation between learning challenges and situation of hunger is not significant.

The research hypothesis is,

Whether the academic progress is being directly impacted on the hunger in the classroom or not.

The Type-I and Type-II error as follows:

Type-I error is the correlation coefficient is not significant but the researcher ignores it and argued as the correlation coefficient is significant.

Type-II error is the correlation coefficient is significant but the researcher ignores it and argued as the correlation coefficient is not significant.

The population is all students from kindergarten to 5 grade in all schools in the city whereas the sample as the 1 school students.
