I have provided the link below to give you a snapshot of a Pennsylvania sentencing chart. In any place using a chart for sentencing purposes, there is usually an effort to measure how serious the crime was and how much of a prior history of offending the defendant actually has. It usually has one axis for the seriousness of the offense that was committed and a horizontal axis for prior criminal history.
On the left of this chart is a column titled, "OGS." Acronym for Offense Gravity Score........how serious was the crime? At the top, you will notice murder and our most serious offenses. At the top is the prior record score.
The far-right column is the aggravated/mitigated range, which gives the judge some discretion to go up or down.
Just for curiosity, in the next two columns, going from right to left are those columns for REVOC (repeat violent offenders) and other repeat offenders. Notice they get some serious "time" as a result of their status.

1)For top level crime, Due to in the categoty of repeated voilence offender serious time of longest minimum sentence of any year can be awarded for most henious crime like "Murder" and culprit is a repeated offender with good prior record score. however top level have three categories of OGS 14, 13 and 12. For wich sentences vary from 72 month longest minimum sentence to 204 month longest minimum sentence for Murder type of crime at top level with repated offence hsitory.
For less severe category sentence vary from minimum of 60-78 month to even 240 months. For Little less severe at top level crime sentence may vary from minimum 48-66 months to even 120 months
2) For level 5 crime time of sentence can vary from minimum of 36-48 months in state incarcination boot camp to 120 months for repeated offence. Minimum sentence may vary as per the gravity score.
3)For level 4crime time of sentence can vary from minimum of 9-16 months in state incarcination/restrictive intermediate punishment boot camp to 120 months for repeated offence. Minimum sentence may vary as per the gravity score.
4)For level 3 crime time of sentence can vary from minimum of 6-14 months in state incarcination/restrictive intermediate punishment/ county boot camp to any number of months for repeated offence as Judge decides. Minimum sentence may vary as per the gravity score.
