Imagine that you work for an international telecommunications conglomerate that has just acquired a 300-person, family-owned telephone service provider. You have been asked to plan and manage a corporate off-site meeting in which 50 of the top-level people from the acquired company will meet for an entire day with 50 key people from your company. The purpose of the meeting will be to disseminate information, ease people’s fears, obtain input, and gain buy-in. You have only one week to put this meeting together.
In your initial discussion post, respond to the following questions:
· Should you use the scheduling tools presented in your reading (Activity-on-Node diagram, Activity-on-arrow Diagram, Gantt Chart, or Schedule Graph (Time-Based Network) , or, given the short time horizon, should you just get right to work? Explain your answer.
· If you recommend using any of the scheduling tools to plan this project, which ones would you use? Why?

Ans:We will have to use scheduling tools like Activity-on-Node diagram, Activity-on-arrow Diagram, Gantt Chart, or Schedule Graph (Time-Based Network) to complete the all tasks optimally and moreover all 50 meetings can not happen at random,as all the activities/meeting are dependent on each other.we will have to finish first the preferred one,because the output of one meeting may be the input to other meeting.
For above purpose,the most useful too for scheduling will be activity on arrow diagram,as it will give us the path as how to process all the meetings,which to be preferred/critical etc.it will give you the idea from which person to person meetings should start and where to end or conclude the project.
