Let N = total number of tickets sold by the club

Let x = number of tickets Sam bought

So, The probability that Sam wins an iPad

   P(A) = x/N

= 15/685

  = 0.02 answer

2.) Now The probability that Sam will not win an iPad

i.e P(not A) = 1 - P(A)

= 1 - 0.02

= 0.98 answer

3.) The total probability of an event happening and the same event not happening always equals to 1
