Stereotyping in America is nothing new to the world. From stereotyping the single women to talking about the immigrants and the Mexicans are some of the finest examples of stereotyping in America. Hatred toward a specific community all the Muslims are considered as terrorists, all the white people in America are racist and all Christian are against the ga.y community. All the New York citizens are rude, all the ga.y men have a feminine appearance. All the politicians are corrupt and crooks.
After reading all the above statements, we have got an idea of, how drastic the condition is. Stereotypes is a very major problem of American Society at the current time. Each and every society has a different opinion for others. People judge each other on the basis of skin colour and origin. There is so much progress has been done in last few decades but still there are so many prejudices and stereotypes which are still a part of the American society and culture. The stereotype is being a problem to the society as most of the time people judge people on the basis of their profession. For example, a prostitute is judged as a women, who is basically addicted to drugs and had a horrible past. You cannot explain it to the public ,even if you do so nobody is going to understand your views.
Parenting and education system plays a vital role in teaching people and educating them towards stereotyping. If one's education system is right and parenting is also done rightly and he has been told that the specific ways of stereotyping are not correct and ethically wrong, is the only way of correcting views of the people from The very beginning.
Stereotyping is changing people's behaviour in a negative way which directly reduces the overall compatibility of the social aspects and creates a problem of intolerance in the environment. This type of defect in my relationships is not present which I found very interesting. Even after we are culturally and racially diverse there is no effect of stereotyping.
