= 1/2 x base x height
= 1/2 x (3 + 1.5) m x 5.8 kN / m
= 13.05 kN.

The net force will be acting on the center of mass of the triangle.
The center of mass of a triangle is its centroid.
The x co-ordinate of the centroid is
