Explanation / Answer

1. I believe that the most important issue in this case is the lack of team management which led the team to various issues and because of this the team actually lost the trust on the management. There is a lack of proper and effective communication due to which employees did not feel valued and the environment was such that they felt that the organization is just looking for an opportunity to blame them for any issue that is caused. The manager was unable to maintain the situation and impart that trust in individuals and therefore things became more and more difficult for the organizations because if employees are not satisfied it is difficult for the organization to succeed.

2. I would recommend her to use her communication skills effectively so that the team feel connected because in this context that is the most important feature that the team should possess which was lacking previously. Once the team starts getting along the situation will become easy and it will be better for the organization. The root cause of the issue is known, therefore the Sandra can actually work on that so that the situation improves and such situation do not occur in the future.

3. As the team leader the mechanism that will be used to get rid of team loafing is individual performance assessment that can be done by the value an individual employee actually contributed to the team or projector and in this case the employee cannot bank on just the team and they need to be performing as well or else they may actually be identified and the organization may not give them proper treatment because they used social loafing.
