Explanation / Answer
The SPSS frequency distribution table for variable Z19 Satisfaction shows that there are 200 valid and 0 missing values. Since, there is no missing values, rows have been grouped as 'valid' section only. There are four columns in the frequency table to report the summary measures. The frequency column indicates the total number of observations that is 200. The Percent column indicates the percentage of observations falling the particular category. That is for category -1.16 the percent is 2/200*100=1. The Valid percent corresponds to percentage of observations in each category out of total valid responses. Since, there is no missing values, this column wil be exactly same as that of Percent column. The Cumulative Percent is obtained by adding the valid percent of each and the previous rows. For example for category -1.16, there is no previous row, therefore, cumulative percent is: 1. For category -1.10, the cumulative percent is: valid percent of category -1.16+valid percent of category -1.10=1+4=5.
