I need to write a policy brief on any health care bill that has not been voted on yet.
I chose H.R.994 - Examining Opioid Treatment Infrastructure Act of 2017
This bill requires the Government Accountability Office to report on inpatient and outpatient treatment capacity, availability, and needs, including detoxification programs, clinical stabilization programs, transitional residential support services, rehabilitation programs, treatment programs for pregnant women or adolescents, and treatment through Indian health programs. The report must include the barriers to real-time reporting of drug overdoses at the federal, state, and local level and ways to overcome those barriers.

The baisc health care is the first right of every citizen,So every government will concentrate to provide proper health care to the people in the country.In order to achieve healthy nation.Governments introducing so many health schemes and health insurences to the people to give assurence to their health.So many government hospitals are established and equipped with latest technologies.
The H.R.994 examining opioid treatment infrastructure act of 2017,The controller general needs to submit a report to the congress on evaluate and report on the in-patient and out-patient treatment capacity,availability and needs of the united states.The main intention of the act to pass in the house is to provide the security and assurence of health to all the people of the country.The bill main intention is to submit the government accountability office is to report the complete details includes inpatient and outpatient treatment capabilities this includes availability of hospitalities and needs of the people.Various programs are introduced like detoxification programs,clinical stabilization,rehabilitation,treatment programs for pregnant women or adolescents.The programs main task is to provide not only the treatment but also the required facilities like rehabilitaion and stabilization of the patient.Detoxification is the process where it will remove the toxic substances that causes harm and unheathy to the patients.
The bill needs to include all the heathcare activities which includes treatment report drug details etc ., to the governement which submitting these bill they have to face lot of barriers and needs to generate the valid report that gives the complete information of the health care units.
The primary audience refers to the group of people who require this information,and what they want to know from this reports and with the help of this information where they will implement.Here the target audience will be the people who regularly visits hospitals for their daily check ups,for example patients who are with diabetics,obesity and high BP etc.,.Once you can able to segregate this information than its easy for them to generate a reort that meets the information needs.
Sponsors will work based on the well defined data that they have or acquired from the third parties in order to plan a well defined information they target the audience who are having regular issues.Some times its very tough to determine the audience and connect this information to them,its critical to establish a connection between information that the sponsors and and the people who can use the information.The basic thing what they have to do is to educate the people on their basic health checks and provide them with all health care plans and medic,al benificies that are available with the health insurences.There are some barriers that can occur during the collection of information and few tecnologies are required to gather the information.But still once the information is collected than its easy to distribute,promote and suppport the information.
