Total male drivers = 40498, and male drivers in the age group 55-69 = 5732
Therefore required probability = 5732/40498 = 0.142
(b) Given that the driver was of the age group 55-69, he was male.
Total drivers in age group of 55-69 = 7900, and male drivers in 55-69 age group = 5732
Therefore required probability = 5732/7900 = 0.726
(c) The Total number of drivers in age group 55-69 = 7900
. Males in 55-69 group = 5732 and Females in 55-69 group = 2168
