Let us assume that we intend to understand the Marketing Strategy & Tactics implemented by a Medium Size Restaurant chain. We shall approach the Owner of the Restaurant Brand for our objective. We should particularly choose a mid size restaurant as it will provide us insights about various geographies and we would actually be able to identify a tangible reference for discussed marketing strategy.

On analyzing the customer incident rate of a restaurant for the entire span of a day, we shall realize that restaurants experience a slump in customer incidence post-lunch period. Thus, we should schedule our interview with the restaurant owner at Post-lunch period as we can expect less customers during that time and hence expect a dedicated time slot from the owner.

As our objective from the interview is to understand the market strategy of the restaurant, the question we shall frame for the interview would be lot more subjective. Hence, in-person interview approach would be beneficial for our cause.
