Agree or disagree with this post?

Out of the five perspectives researches view development from, I agree most on is psychoanalytical perspective and disagree most with contextual. I agree with psychoanalytical the most because it deals with the unconscious mind. Psychosexual and psychosocial suggest stages in life, broke down by age. This provides a range of development to sort of “ work towards” or hope to be at by that age listed. Also, the unconscious is good to study because it cant be influenced by the study or experiment. The perspective I disagree most with is Contextual perspective. This is because I do not fully agree with environment based development. Lastly, I am not educated very well with culture backgrounds and evolution. I cannot agree on a subject I don’t fully understand.

Explanation / Answer

I don’t agree with the post as we cannot negate the influence of the context in our lives. Countless studies on twins that are monozygotic have highlighted the importance of nurture in our lives as twins have the same heredity and the differences in them are ascribed to their environment. People in different parts of the world are different due to their context; environment and biology both.
