Need help proofreading my paper for proper puncuation and grammer. March 16, 2018 Mr. Greg Smith Powder Application Engineering Supervisor Dear Greg: I would like to formally apply to join your team as a powder coating Controls Engineer. As you know, over the last 4 years, 10 months, I have had extensive electrical and mechanical experience with Nordson's powder coating systems as first an intern, then Manufacturing Technician. In addition to the setup, programming, and testing of powder systems, I have designed and built a variety of testing equipment that has greatly reduced the time to test systems, as well as speed up the troubleshooting process. During Powder's slow periods, I have made excellent use of my spare time by cross-training in Automotive where I have become a valuable part of the staging team. With them, I have gained extensive experience with various manufacturers of HMI's, PLC's, servo drives, and PID controls. Having received assistance and guidance from your Controls Engineers, on many occasions, has given me great insight into their works and projects. It's a challenging yet, exciting career that involves a great majority of the knowledge and skills that I already use in my current position.
