I'm trying to reply to this discussion, can someone help me with it, please??

Q2:
Government public health agencies should play a role where they are able to establish rules and boundaries for taking away aid to those who need it. This would include not allowing seniors to be kicked out of homes due to no more budgeting, making them go out on the street to fiend for themselves. Thus, either setting new laws or making it harder for funding to be cut is a role they should play. Public health officials should definitely fight to have more funding in order to keep the elderly and others who need it either in a home, or with a home aid. This can be done by cutting budgets from others who don't need it, such as those who can afford home aids or who's families can afford their health problems. This would give a little bit of room available for those who don't have family to help, or money. In addition to the benefit dinner idea, there are several ways in which Randall can fundraise for his organization. Not only can money be raised by having charitable events, but Randall can also decide different ways in which he can save money in the organization. Using different brands for materialistic items in the facility, using energy friendly materials to cut down on the costs. etc. This can ultimately end up saving him thousands of dollars and open more spots for patients. Moving clientele from non-profit organizations to state-administered programs has a long lasting effect on public health agencies because due to them being more expensive, the state budgets run out even sooner with less people having access to home care services. Whereas if more people were able to keep access to private home health services there would be more of a budget left.

This is what i have so far, please help me add more to it.

I agree with your post, it seems to me it’s not fair that there are taking away the aid who need it more. It actually sad what is happening with the senior elderly people, why would they do such a thing??

Explanation / Answer

I agree that it is challenging for state budgets to accommodate the healthcare needs of senior citizens and so non-profit organisations or non-government organisations can assume an active position with respect to the same. However, there cannot be complete reliance to take up responsibilities that is supposed to be in the ambit of the government. The elderly have perhaps contributed the most towards the development of the nation by their labour and their tax contributions, and this should not be overlooked while allocating budgets. With better planning and greater consideration of the elderly, healthcare assistance can be provided to then.
