A good listener always aware about ideologies, interests and assumptions, Avery used these listening skills and also used listening tools like paraphrasing and questioning which made effective communication between Avery and employees. Paraphrasing- Paraphrasing is a restatement in which we use simple language and own words with the sense of appropriate task. Paraphrasing is an additional manner of expression which create great impact with listeners. In paraphrasing, we use some words and sentences from appropriate matter, and some words from own understandings.
Questioning- Asking a right and accurate question is the symbol of effective communication and information exchange. By using the right question in a particular situation, we can use the whole range of communication. There are two type of questions, one is closed question and another in open question, we used close question to get the answer about agree or not agree, right or wrong, while the open questions suggests the ideas and solutions.
