1. happiness, anger, guilt, regret. the chcildren experience emotions of happiness or joy by 6-8 weeks, anger by 3-4 months, guilt by 3-4 years and regret by 5-6 years of age. hence this is the order of emotions during a childs development.

2. emotional resilience- emotional resilience refers to the ability to adapt to stressful situations. this enhances a person to deal with them effectively and hence be able to make effective attachments with others.

3. social referencing. it is a process whereby infants take cues from other peoples behavior about how to react in a certain situation and base their behavior on these cues. celia can base her reaction towards crying based on her mothers reaction of taking care quickly but shannon cannot as she has observed different reactions towards crying. hence they differ in social referencing

4. temperament determines many aspects of development, irrespective of socialization experiences is true. they are innate rather than learned and determine are reactions and ways of developing in life. although it is effected by environmental situations but still it effects most of the development without interaction with socialization experiences.

5. are more likely to engage in physical play than mothers do. fathers generally are more physically active than mothers with children as they are busy in emotional and bodily needs of the baby. with the changing environment in US fathers participate and motivate their children to play more and be all rounders.
