Today in any profession or in any field of study, communication is the key and employers are looking for such soft skills in an employee today because they feel that is of utmost importance. As we talk about communication we need to understand that listening is a very important aspect in communication and if one needs to communicate properly then that person needs to be a good and effective listener because if you are not a good listener then the process of communication will not yield results for both of the stakeholders involved.

In this case when we are writing down circumstances that made me a good listener or not then we need to first identify our listening skills and the strength and weakness that we possess regarding listening or else the evaluation will not be complete. I feel that listening is an art just like painting and here we need to cautious about our strengths and weaknesses or else we wont be able to master the skill of learning. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are the basic aspects of communication and hence we are practicing all the factors when we are doing such an activity.
