The first story of chimamanda adichie explains the basis origin of her in a family in Nigeria where she grew up after migration from other part of africa as refugee.She used to read comics, stories and books in english at a very early age.Later the story depicts about her experiances in USA where she had the opportunity to work in a nongovernmental organizations working towards the welfare of childen in society and the development of africans in america in culture, music society and politics.Further she discusses her experiances in Mexico where she had the opportunity to learn about the illegal migration in mexico from south america and transformation of culture and society in these regions.
The second story of alexie discusses the origin of this man as a slave in society along with his experiances with his wife who suported him throughout life after suffering from slavery.Further the story narrates the experiances of this person to abolish slavery in society in lower communities and religions.
