In and article on Independent.co.uk written by Ian Johnston humans have inherited the natural tendency to kill. With the research they have done he comes to state that our tendency to violence is sic times higher then the average mammal. I think that humans are naturally violent, not only from the research above but things that happen in our everyday life too. When people get mad they seem to go straight to violence. We see it all the time in traffic, when someone cuts someone else off, we honk or cuss. That is just one example. For some people this happens naturally.
Explanation / Answer
This is a debatable issue whether or not human is violent naturally . Yes i do agree for the fact that violence is the natural instinct of human . But with the control , and inner self power , human has been successful in controlling his anger and preventing it to vent out in the form of violence.
When a person is angry , the very first thing he resorts to , is violence . But if he counts 10 seconds , waits for a while , calm down and think , he can very easily prevent his violence.
So all these things are adaptive . Human have got such a powerful brain that he is able to do almost anything and everything , so why not control his anger. With the growing popularity of yoga and meditation , people have become less violent worldwide.
