1. Ask Questions: Students can be asked a few key basic questions when approaching any problem such as, "What more information do you need?", "How do you know that?", "What are you overlooking?".
2. Rely on facts and not assumptions: When students are trying to solve a problem, it’s always helpful to encourage them to question what they already know. The idea is to think about any assumptions that are taken for granted but might crumble upon further examination.
3. Be honest and ethical: Sometimes, our judgement can be subjective, frail, and spiteful. At Al instances, students should be made to understanding what their own biases are and where they may affect they deal with information.
4. Let your mind wander: Thinking outside the box is central to critical thinking. Students should be rewarded for creative approaches for solving otherwise regular questions.
