1. b) input and action potential Dendrites which is also called dendrons, these are branched protoplasmic extensions of a nerve cell. Electrochemical stimulation propagates all over the cell body. The cell body or soma received these stimulations from other neural cells of the neuron from which the dendrites project.

Neurons to become active, the dendrites must receive action potentials or other stimuli. Dendrites receive the electrical messages. The basic forms of the messages: excitatory and inhibitory.
