1. Check to see if the cable is plugged in properly. Maybe its plugged into the mouse port by mistake, or not fully seated.
2. Test with a known good PS2 Keyboard
3. If PS/2 Keyboard doesn't work, replace with a USB keyboard.
Some motherboard require jumper settings to be adjusted on the motherboard, or enabled in the BIOS settings as well.
