2.) For separating out the vocal part from the musical instruments, you basically need to do filtering. Take an FFT of the input audio signal, and then pass it through a low pass filter, varying its cutoff freuency every time to figure out the most optimum value.
3.) For changing the pitch, again you need to do filtering. Separate the vocal part as above, and then use a frequency shaping filter to change the pitch.
