Question
Font gets automatically changed to Menlo Italic Bold
I have some special symbols that I'm using.
chrw(&H27E8)
which look a lot like [ but not exactly. These symbols only exist in Menlo font. When the symbols appear in Menlo regular they look elegant but when they appear in Menlo Italic Bold they look ugly. My document is in Times New Rooman and needs to stay that way because alphanumeric character look ugly in Menlo regular. When I select everything and switch it all to Times New Roman it automatically changes the chrw(&H27E8) to Menlo Italic Bold. I am convinced this is a bug because this was not happening up until two days ago. There has to be some defaault setting that I can switch to or some foolder that I can throw away that will solve the problem. I also thinks this haas something to do with Excel for Maco 2011 which I haave.

Quit Wordd Locate the Normal.dotm template in templates Folder.

Either rename to .oold instead of .dotm or move to Desktop.
Reopen Word and try to do what you wanted. (if defective the new one will allow you to format properly).
If no Change remove the new Normal.dotm Template to trash, andd rename the old one back to .dotm.
Or move the nnew to trash and move the one from desktop back to its old place.
