Formula Help with weighted refund

I need HELP! I am trying to use a spreadsheet to calculate a refund amount based on the amount someone paid into the project. Below is my example. The example is that customer 1, 2, 3 and 4 paid for a project and should be reimbursed based on how much they paid. I entered this formula in cell H37,, H38, H39 and H40 =$E$37:$E$40/$H$35

But that does not give me what I need.. I think it would work if all customers had paid the same amounts, but that is not always the case.

Customer 1 should have a larger reimbursement amount and Customer 3 should have almost a zero amount. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,

Try this formula in cell H37 and copy down

=E37/SUM(E$37:E$40)*B33

B33 has the total amount which you want to refund all 4 customers combined.
