Explanation / Answer

Case study Technique-

This is a method of collecting and analyzing the data which is close to the real world context of present circumstances. The case is designed, the data is collected for the study, analysis is made of the case study and the results are presented and reported. Case study method is preffered to use when contemporary events have to be examined and manipulation of relevant behaviors cannot be done. Hence it is a procedure of studying the real events that can base a data for the present circumstances and help in analyzing the scenario based on it.

Literature review of peer reviewed research-

Peered reviewed research is the review of the quality of the article submitted for the publication. It is reviewed by scholars specialized or expert in the same field as the author of the article. The accuracy and validity is checked by these peers of the research methodology and sources. Literature review of the same is the written summary that research. It is usually added in the introduction or discussion sections of the reasearch. They give a clear picture on how the article is collected and what is the matter that is covered in it. The survey of the literature of the reasearch of the peer reviewed article is done in it.

Both these methods have their own benefits and drawbacks and the best is to examine the scenario for which a data collection technique is used and then select the most appropriate method for the same. Case study will help in analyzing the present situation based on the study of similar cases where as literature review will help in sumarrarizing the data based on the researched data by peer reviews.
