You next decide to make another list of resources and support from key persons that would be needed to implement the practice. What's on this second list and why?Explanation / Answer
The new idea comes with a lot of advantages and few limitations too because it may seem that the process will help the employees a lot but it will also have some negative impacts on the organization as well.
Advantages
1. This process provides a complete evaluation of the employee where the peers also provide feedback.
2. The process is more transparent because the employees get to see their progress online.
3. The employees have to consider this as fair compared to the managerial appraisal approach. In this case the feedback actually comes from people the employee are working with.
Limitations
1. Scope of influence because of personal relationships.
2. Mutual understanding may occur where employees agree to provide positive feedbacks to each other.
3. The organizational hierarchy may get affected.
Implementing the practice will be difficult because implementing a change in an already established set up will be resisted because we are not open to accept changes which actually make the situations difficult so it is better if we conduct a survey on employee about what they think about this and if they feel that this would be fruitful or not. An analysis of the design is also required, so that if there is any organization that has inplemented this system needs to be evaluated and may be used as reference.
