Question
Referring to Figure 1, all the hosts on Ethernet-1 andEthernet-2 have a subnet mask 255.255.255.0. H1, H2, H3 haveIP addresses 10.0.0.10 - 10.0.0.12 respectively, and H4, H5,H6 have IP addresses 10.0.1.1 - 10.0.1.3 respectively.Assuming that hosts H3 and H6 are accidentally assigned thesame MAC address (a mistake by the Ethernet cardmanufacturer), though each still has its unique IP address. Wouldthis error cause any problems when H3 and H6 try tocommunicate (a) with each other, and (b) with other hosts in thefigure? Please explain.
