Question
When converting from binary to hexadecimal, I know to group the 1'sand 0's into groups of 4. For example, with the binary number(1011001.110111) I would group the numbers before the decimal pointas (101|1001.110111).My question is, when grouping sets of binary 1's and 0's onthe right side of the decimal, do I start from the right and groupthem in groups of 4 as in (101|1001.11|0111) going to the lefttowards the decimal point or do I start at the decimal and groupthem in groups of 4 going right (101|1001.1101|11)? I think I saidthat correctly. I just want to make sure that I have my groupingcorrectly on the right side of the decimal and my textbook mentionsnothing about what to do on the right side of the decimal. Thankyou to anyone who answers.
