The good GUI design principles include:
1.It should be consistent.The buttons should be designed such that they open on a single clicks and if a person uses double click it opens immediately in another window.
2.The navigation within screen is important:design it from left to right and top to bottom.
3.Explanation of the rules:The rules should be explained to use the application so that users can use it easily.
4.Look at other applications:Check other applications and see how they work before you implement yours.
5.Word your messages and use buttons and labels often at proper places.
The application is facebook.
Yes it follows the definations as it has home buttons,with proper authentication for unique usernames and passwords.It has word messages in bold under every category like settings,about me,etc.It provides navgation within the screen as well and all the rules are explained in the help menu step by step.This is one of the best application developed.
Features i would like to add are:emegency buttons so that incase of emergency user can press that and it can be displayed on profile and different background colors to make it look better.
The features I would like to delete are the unncessary games and emotions and automatic updates.
