Explain your answers.
Explanation / Answer
Travelling ads are very much in existence in different parts of the world for a number of years. To some extent there is truth in the statement that these traveling ads could be a hazard to people as they drive (an unnecessary distraction). But then there are stationary bill boards and signage’s equally distracting the attention of those driving past these hoardings. Never the less people get used to such changes in the environment and surroundings much sooner than later and I do not find much adverse consequences of such distractions.
Mobile billboards and other forms of transit advertising are subjected to the laws of the land. It is important to use the eco-friendly trucks and or other modes of transportation like bullock carts, horses, elephants, bicycles etc. Subject matter of the advertisements is also important. Such transit advertisements should not be source of causing traffic problems like jams, slow movements for the general public.
There may or may not be problems if we drive these vehicles past schools during the times that students are entering and leaving the buildings. In fact some kind of ads relevant to students may be allowed on the vehicles used for transporting the students. As mentioned above, the kind of products/ services and the subject matter of the advertisements may turn out to be facilitators or hazards for students. It is very common to come across advertisements of teacher's tuitions and coaching institutes near the schools as well as that of help books, text books and other study materials to meet the requirements of students. Further students are also interested in sports and other extra-circular activities and pursuing different hobbies for which they may be looking forward for useful transit ads.
