Software (i-mac, i-os) innovation
User friendly products (Reduced the size of computers)
Product differentiation (revolutionize the music industry by introducing i-pod)
What was the most important thing the leader did to contribute to the success?
What Steve Jobs did most important that it revolutionize the digital entertainment sector. It helped to reduce the gap between user's ease to use device and technology.
Steve jobs unique creativity products- i-mac,i-pod i-phone made apple to achieve a height than ever before. Basically it was nothing but the product differentiation.
What was the biggest obstacle that had to be overcome to be successful?
In 1995/96 Apple was near to bankruptcy and then Steve helped apple to get fund of $150 million fund from Microsoft then produced the product like i-pod and i-mac and made apple a great success what we see today.
What did you learn from this story that could be applied to your project?
The learning is to show the strategy of differentiation and ease of use. Its hard to get success if this two things is not present. For a customer or say end user it so important if its not user friendly and what s/he get has no additional thing in comparison to existing.
