Ans: Quality control refers to a process through which a companies makes sure that product quality is maintained, improved and manufacturing errors are reduced or removed and abolished. Quality control process needs the companies to create an environment wherein both management and subordinates strive for perfection. Mostly it is achieved by training the personnel, creating benchmarks for product quality, and product tests to check for statistically significant variations.
A critical aspect of quality control is the establishment of well-set controls. These controls helps to standardize production and reactions to quality issues. Part of the quality control system is customer feedback. It is one way of ensuring that higest customer service is offered to customers and there is no room of customer grievances .
