The major issue with bringing the change in the restaurant business is that the people and the processes need to be changed which creates a strong resistance against the change. For bringing the change, the change agent needs to understand both people and the processes in order to bring change. If the adequate changes are not made to processes and the people are not taken into confidence, the change may fail.

For the purpose of enabling the change in the restaurant business the exercise which needs to be conducted is the feedback collection and communication. This exercise will involve all the employees like the managers, customer service staff and the kitchen staff and so on. This exercise will take feedback from the staff members on change and then based on it will develop a change program. This change program will then be communicated to the employees. This will develop celerity about the change and will reduce the resistance and facilitate the change.
