Option 2: Consider the apps that are available on your phone like “Find My Friends” or a similar app which will tell you where someone is located. What are your experiences with an app like this? Do you feel that this is an invasion of your privacy?
Option 3: While traveling in China a few years ago, I found that the social networking sites we use regularly in this country were not easily available at a major 5 star hotel. When I questioned this, I found that it is blocked by the government. This does not stop the people who live there from using it though. Most of them have access to any sites they want by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). What are your thoughts on this?

Let's take the first option into consideration:
When considering an app wherein the location of a friend is revealed would definitely make it interesting and exciting. Also, it would be a fair game in the current world. If one thinking them to locate oneself when lost this would be helpful. But, this is definitely an invasion of privacy which is dependant upon a common law that allows the person to get a lawsuit against any individual or group for disclosing his/her personal details, hence not just name, phone number, blood group, their place of location.
One should be very strict about the invasion of privacy as it is nothing less than an intrusion attack where one's personal affairs are secretly/intentionally taken.
