Do all team members of the new model system project have to have key analytical skills? Or, only the Project Manager? Why?

Analytical and interpersonal skills are important because an analytical skill can evaluate the problem, utilize key elements, and can process a solution. Although the interpersonal skill is a necessity for building a new system because you will need a system analyst who can control the situation, and fix all the problems with the company [to communicate with others.] These all consist of using "team-oriented strategy" to advocate the people affected by the system in the company.

Explanation / Answer
1) All team members irrespective of their positions should have analytical skills. Having analytical skills help team mebers to have a structured thought process which in turn helps in proper execution of their tasks. Having analytical skils, help people to think logically and help in streamlining the process execution. Project managers need to have analytical skills to handle project smoothly but in addition to that team members should also have analytical skills to improve their task execution capability. It help team members to decide upon future strategy and processes which is a very important skill, just not for managers but also for the entire team. Analytical skills in all team members increases the innovation and also reduces the dependency on project manager.
2) The description about Analytical skills is quite accurate. Analytical skills can help users to evaluate the problem in much better manner and it also helps in using the current system capabilities in much better manner.
The description about interpersonal skills talks about only one-way communication which seems like some analyst is executing the project and he is communicating the changes to the people being affected by the system. As there is no return communication from the stakeholders to the system analyst, it won't be very useful to develop a solution. Without a feedback loop, the solution might not be that much useful. The solution might be inadequate and might miss the key user requirements.
For a correct team-oriented strategy their needs to be a two-way communication along with the analytical skills.
3)In this post, the analytical skills description is entirely same so views from my earlier post stands true here also.
Interpersonal skills here talks about two-way communication. Unlike the previous post here analyst is taking inputs from users. The input is taken at system analysis phase and thus will help in designing effective system because all system requirements and user inputs will be communicated to system analyst. System analyst will be able to execute the system in a much better manner because due to interpersonal and analytical skills the system requirements will be communicated right in the start of the project.
