Question

I'm wondering what you all think of the HTML5 book by Jeremy Keith. His writing style is lively compared to most text books, and he incorporates a bit of sarcasm and humor at times. For me this was a welcome relief; but it also meant that I had to read carefully to get his meaning. So what do you think? Did Jeremy Keith's writing style enhance and clarify his message or did it make it difficult to grasp the concepts? Was his real world perspective helpful to framing and understanding how the HTML5 specification is being developed? Have you come across any other books, articles, multimedia or websites that would better serve the purpose of giving an overview of HTML5?
