Question

Case study

Kahuna is a profitable cleaning-supply company but its future growth is on the balance due to its slow adoption of technology. Its current system is defunct and can no longer match up to the demands of the modern business world; as a result, the firm is experiencing significant delays in the processing of orders and delivery of goods which will reduce confidence among the clients who may opt for the more efficient competitors. Furthermore, the current system is labor intensive thus is subject to human errors which interferes with the accuracy of the order process and reduces potential income. The business also has no online presence which has made it to lose many potential customers who prefer firms that are active online since they are easily accessible. Therefore, the new system is a much needed change that will increase efficiency, fasten up processes and reduce human error since automation will entail less human involvement in the entire ordering process. Apart from improvement of internal processes, the system will create an online platform that can be used for ordering and leveraged for marketing efforts; this way, the firm will be able to tap into a new market that is not necessarily close to their base of operations. The following research will illustrate the present state of Kahuna Cleaning Supply which will assist to formulate the needs of the new system

Apple has always been a major player and a leader in innovative market, it has ensured how to build a custmer base for itself and how people show that they posess an iphone and ipad. Apple has constantly strived to innovate everytime and the basics of such approach comes from Steve jobs. At work place he ensured couple of things to be looked at to keep employees & customers happy:

1. Communicate with customers freely: It is always advised to take a regular feedback and not just limit your offering to be sold. During the entire tenure of service being provided, a rapport should be developed between customers & company.

2.Loyalty programs: These work specially in retail or some service offerings and keeps the customers intact to the organization/ company.

3.special events: There must be get togethers planned with your customers on special occasions like 25th yearly celebrations of company, etc.

4.Two way communication with customers: Rather than just talking, one should also have an ear to listen to the customers and make the discussion real time rather than pre planned king of thing.

5.Enhance cstomer service by having dedicated staff for specific roles to address issues or seeking info types.

6.Visit the major customers time and often to build a relationship with them. This helps to add value to the company in the long run.
