Professional responsibility:
It is the area of where a person performs the duties
a) In a professional manner
b) Obey the law
c) Avoid conflicts of interest
d) Put the interests of clients ahead of their own interests.
Responsibility in general means to take ownership for the decisions we make or fail to make, the actions we take or fail to
take, and for the consequences.

II) Six basic responsibilities of the "Responsibility to the Profession"
With respect to the PMI Code of Conduct, adhere to the following responsibilities
1) Be truthful at all times and in all situations
2) Report code violations (with factual basis)
3) Disclosing conflicts of interest, if any
4) Comply with laws
5) Respect other's intellectual property rights
6) Support the code

b) It apply to all the projects. When a person is given a task to complete, it is his reponsibility to adhere the rules. The failure and success depends on the decisions and understanding of the tasks. If everything is clear then there is no chance for conflicts, this ensures the smooth complition of the project.

With respect to the PMI Code of Conduct, adhere to the following responsibilities
1) Be truthful at all times and in all situations
2) Maintain professional integrity (satisfy the scope of your professional services always)
3) Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information
4) Refrain from gifts or compensation giving/receiving where inappropriate
5) Ensure conflicts of interest do not interfere with client's interest or interfere with professional judgement.

b) In a projects: When client's give away a project to a company. The company appoints an individual/team to complete the project. It is his/team reponsibility to adhere the rules. The failure and success depends on the decisions and understanding of the tasks. In this case, both the sides are clear with the progress of projects and the issues.
