The privately held corporation owns 160 units. The first Hooters opened October 4, 1983, in Clearwater, Florida. The Original Six founders were quickly detained for impersonating restaurateurs, but fortunately for America, they were soon allowed to go about their business. During its history, the Hooters concept has remained true to its roots. The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store. This consistency is understandable given Hooters continued success and high ranking amongst the industry's growth leaders. The casual beach-themed establishments feature music, sports on large flat screens, and a menu that includes seafood, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and of course, Hooters original chicken wings. Others have arrived, departed, and even flat out copied our formula, but we remain the genuine original. The Case for Male Hooters Servers working along side Female Hooters Servers
Women are an actively growing consumer demographic and having Male Hooters Servers could help cater not just to women but the LGBT & other gender fluid demographics within the United States. This does mean that there is a some demand, while it may not be as large as the demand for female hooters servers.
Conclusion
This could be provided as an optional service at a Hooters location. Also, until the demand for male hooter's servers increases, the restaurant chain could always hire their staff with a ration of 2 : 10 or 2 men for every 10 women as a part of their serving staff. This would facilitate a more inclusive restaurant chain that's more accessible and doesn't compromise on their brand identity or their demand.
