Hello, Here I will explain you about the system processor and memory information in depth. Let take an example that we are dealing with Windows 8 OS.
1. After you open the properties by following the step 1, then you will see a screen/window with all the details like processor, memory and systems information. Read all the details.
2. There you will find the processor. For example, Windows 8 processor in my system shows intel i3 Core processor. And to know the cores, right click on the task bar and click on Performance tab, there you will see the cores. Where Windows 8 intel i3 processor has 2 cores. Performance speed or clock speed is also shown on the same screen like 1.70 GHz. In the control panel, RAM size is displayed as installed ram: Ex: 4.00 GB.
3. After you open the File Manager and under My Computer or PC, you will fill all the available drive which can be default drives C or self created drives like D, E , F etc., If you would like to know the space or memory of those drives, you will find the free space on the drive itself. I you want to know more about it, just right click on thye drive and click properties and then you can find more information. The same will be followed for any removable storage devices connected to the computer.
4. The three odd keys on the keyboard are PrtScn, ScrLk and Pause/Break.
PrtScn: The print screen captures an image of the completed screen and copied over to the clipboard in computer's memory. This can be pasted to MS Paint or other programs.
ScrLk: In few programs, the Scroll lock change the original behavior of arrow keys and Page Down and Page Up keys.Keyboard shows light indication if at all the Scroll Lock is on.
Pause/Break. This key makes some older programs to pause and ability to stop the program if you combine Pause/Break key with Ctrl key.
