Show equations and ALL calculations

The following circuit of three resistors is connected to a battery with an unknown voltage. A current 0.2A is found to flow through resistor R1 in the given direction. The resistances of R1, R2, and R3 are 10Ohm, 20Ohm, and 30Ohm respectively. What is the current flowing through resistor R2? What is the potential across resistor R3? What is the current flowing through the battery? What is the equivalent resistance of the circuit? What is the voltage of the battery?

Explanation / Answer

so, Current in R3 is also 0.2 A becuase resistances are equal

Total there is 0.2+0.2 = 0.4 A

V = i*Req = 0.4*Req

Req = 30 | 30 = 15 Ohm

V = 0.4 * 15 = 6 Volt

a)

0.2 A

b)

V = i*R = 0.2*30 = 6 Volt

c)

0.2+0.2 = 0.4 A

d)

Req = 15 Ohm

e)

Voltage = 6 Volt
