The two different online companies which serve as online commerce or mobile commerce services are:
amazon.com
ebay.com
The marketing on these websites are in the form of products, UI, Discounts on different categories of products, deals on different product, new launches and etc.
ebay has a simple design than amazon, but the design of the website does look retro and not modern. Also, the products in the ebay website are limited quantity and the variety is limited.
Both websites display Ads and provide Search engine marketing by letting the user search the inventory of the website for the product.
There are other tools such as :
Email marketing
Affiliate marketing
Sponsorship marketing
Social Marketing on Social network websites
Mobile and App marketing
Among the 2 websites Amazon is the better and is most useful in marketing/advertising. Also, the website is better and the Ads are proper and attractive, and amazon uses all the tools mentioned above rather than ebay.
2) What is the fastest growing m-commerce platform & why? 20 pts.
Amazon will be the fastest growing m commerce platform because of the huge business and user friendly system and behavior and the marketing strategies using the Internet and social network and on the mobile platform. They have mobile applications and website for using the Amazon marketplace.
