1. I have selected my topic on " African American"
2. Racism in the united states, has been widespread from many decades back.Exposure to racism has beeen always have a strong connection to poor health.It has been reported that racism caused physiological arousal including cardiovascular and metabolic perturbations. The racism has also witnessed unhealthy food choices which makes the health even worse. African amerian always been disregared and always been a victim of racism due to the difference in the color of their skin that is, White V/S Black. Today also black american feel discriminated despite of attaining so much progress in civil rights reform over the last four decades.Since civil right law were passed in the year 1960 against discrimation, still today they have never passed in the hearts and intent of the American people.
African Americans let the white majority into their political and economic lives without whites letting African Americans into their lives.
Due to the Racism , African American do face a lot of chronic conditions of stress . It has a negative sie effects on all the black people due to pervasive exposure to racism and discrimination that creates additionally daily stressor for them.
Earlier some fifity years ago, black people were treated as slaves by white. They have to reside in the outer part of cities.They were indeed traped in poverty. They were not supposed to do jobs like the white people. Their work was only to be a slave of white American and jobs in the companies were only meant for the whie people, they call as "white people collar job". the black women has to work as a servant at white american' s home and had to work for 12 hours a day to earn thier little livlihood.
In subsequent years, this schenerio changed and today almost more than 30% of black men and nearly 60% of black women hold white collar jobs.
Generally the leading causes of death among black people is many.
*The foremost cause is heart diseases.
*The Alzheimer disease is more prevalent among Blacks than whites.
* The other most common disease among black people that cause death is Septicemia. This disease is cause by bacteria that infect the blood and cause life threatening infections.
* Homicide is another a cause of their death , according to the research black people in America get murdered at a high rate.
* Chronic lower respiratory is another stress disease among black Americans .
3. Once slaved in USA, African Americans were forced to live in deterioting physical and social condition in which their health ha a very little value. They have to deal with the slavery for almost 150 years and had to lead a miserable life in USA, which had a direct impact on their health. There were various causes of their early death which are mentioned above.
