A. Discover the management dilemma:

There might be many situations which management of a company might come across which may stump them. Finding out what exactly is causing a dilemma in the mind of the management, asking queries and coming up with a clear picture in your head regarding what exactly is causing a worrisome situation would be the first step in research.

B.Define the management question:

There will be many cases where the dilemma in the managements's heads are an array of misarranged thoughts with no clarity. After a thorough discussion with the management a defined structure can be created so as to how the problem needs to be approached.

C.Define the research question:

Now that the managent question is presented to you in a defined way, what needs to be done to solve it is clear in your head. The process of framing management problem solving specific research question can be started. It should be noted that not all research will solve the managements's problem , but the brainstorming will definitely make the final solution more specific.

After a variety of questions are present, research can be conducted to find out the answers to these questions. Each question and answer and their relevance to the management questions will help to weed out unnecessary questions.
