Read the facts.
In Malaysia, a person is beaten with a rattan cane as a form of corporal punishment or for infractions in the military or public schools. The cane used for corporal punishment is 1.27 centimeters in diameter and 1.2 meters long. Up to 24 strokes of the cane may be administered at one time; each stroke is to be administered with maximum effort and is applied directly to the skin. Caning can also be administered along with a prison sentence or for prison infractions.

Write two speeches.
On a college campus, two students are on opposite ends of the quad giving a speech about the above situation. One is a moral relativist, and one is a moral absolutist. Write a two-page speech for each of the orators that include the following information.
Within each speech, explain the position in light of characteristics associated with the theory.
Describe what each speaker would have to say about the above practice.
Make sure the speaker addresses why his or her position on this practice is preferable over the other speaker's position.

Moralities. In my view point they are generated or originated from the society in which we live and what all we practice. Thus Moral thoughts vary from its place of origin and culture being followed.
Canning. A practice of using a stick like cane and beating it several times to your children by respective parents or towards students by their respective teachers in Malaysia.
Yes. They give most importance to inculcate discipline among their children.
There are various instances where many children who are now enjoying parenthood have been beaten / canned in their own childhood.
It is treated as regular practice there.
Recently Malaysian parents were jailed by Swedish court for opting corporal punishment to their son.
If it is a practice inculcated by Malaysian people from ages and ut formed part of their culture and their government along with their decision then no wrong in such practice.
Since moralities vary with facts of origin and cultures inculcated.
A father of kid shared his experience of punishment in childhood and said that was something which inculcated discipline in him and made him a better responsible ones from then.
Also teachers who have insisted to eat grass to the children is given excuse considering her intention out of such act is just to let them remember their mistake forever and not to repeat such irresponsible behaviour in older ages of their life.
May it be strange to other societies and we are not even ready to inculcate that practice but as per their way of culture it is acceptable by majority of people residing over country store is thus considered as part of their adaption of parenthood which does not require other countries permission.

Sir / mam. My fellow speaker have specified few facts about morals but my views vary on this behalf.
Moral and moralities are standard and basic ones. They does not very between places. Thorn into skin of any living organism hurts the same. In the same manner harsh and rude behaviour by patents towards their innocent children always hurts them the same May it be a Malaysian / swedan / Tibetan.
A child face turns happy if their parents shower love on them. A kind of emotional bondage from parents is the one which elevates their strength , mentally and positive attitude.
Children are the one still growing. We can't expect them to understand every single thing as a 20 to 25 years person.
Things like not being responsible homework completor / not willing to go to school / listening loud music etc are done by any children out of ignorance. If They are just kept canning / bearing instead of letting them know the importance of the things they are doing. Then that effects a child both physically and emotionally.
Once a teacher asked a person to round the school in underwear for some silly reason. Wat if that little child faints in middle / could not resist the insult and dipress / any other mental imbalance takes place in his body ??
It is not rightful to just beat children endless. Many countries won't allow even their pets / other animals to beat or harm. Then are their children not even value equivalent to animals to their eyes ??
May be the children in muslim dominated societies like malaysia behave naughty to greater extent than other kids but that does not mean you brutally keep hurting them just because they are helpless and can't revolt against you.
How ever even few Malaysian families started explaining their children on what to do and what not to. This may be taken as slighter improvement in thought process but still much are to be changed.
