1 Ans:- The first Amendment to the U. S. Constitution protects following matters:-
a). It prevents governments to establish any religion.
b). The congress can't stop any religious exercise.
c). The government can't restricts freedom of speech.
d). It protects the freedom of press.
e). It allows peaceful assembly to protest.
2 Ans:- These protections are important becasue it preserves the essance of democracy and freedom. Without it, there would be no difference between dictatorship and democracy. The protections give enough freedom to citizens to put forward their views and express it in public. Apart from that, it also enables citizens to follow their religion and practice it. These protections also gives strength to media to report truth without any fear.
3 Ans:- The restrictions on each protection are:-
a). Public protests are protected but restrictions are put on violance in these protests. Public display of fire arms are not allowed in protests.
b). There is freedom of speech but restriction is put on hate speeches. The hate speech which can intimidate violance are not allowed at any cost. The public speakers are detained in various cases to make any hate speech.
c). Freedom of press is allowed but restrictions are put on biased and false reporting of news. The media and public dispay can be censored if it can create disharmony in public domain.
d). Freedom to follow the religion is allowed but no one should hurt the religious sentiments of others. There should not be any forceful conversion of religion.
