communication is the only tool where a man can understand others and situations, and reacting according those conditions. if we do not have communication, then we are equal other animals and creatures on this plannet. It helps us to express ourself to others and also helps to understand others and help each other. It is the same with organization also. there will be many levels, departments, and many people work for a common goal. during this, each one has to be interact about thier requirements, what they are expecting, what they done, what they are going to be perform and so on. It helps the management to express what they expecting from employees and also employee can express about the requirements and considerations from management.
Interpersonal communication barriers: are those which are different from person to person and also from time to time. they inclues emotional balance, the utilization of jargon, different perceptions and understandings, lack of attention and interest and so on. all these can not be treat in the same way. each one is different and should treat in a different way. Emotional balance can be stabled with more patience, and undestading others, utilization of jargon depends on the cluture, the place they born and grownup, having different perceptions can be overcome by interacting with others with more clarity, having empathy and so on. as i said above, all these are different and different alternatives and procedures are there to overcome these.
when the higher authorities want to express or inform something to lower level employees and middle level employees, they choose downward communication. here the information flow from top to bottom. On the other hand, information flows from down to top is called unpward communication. when the people who are at same level, exchange information at their level only is called hornzontal communication.
senders should forward the messages through proper and authorized challels, as possible as simple, straight and with clarity.. do not deviate from what you want to tell or inform and too much discussion deviates it. similarly, the listners or receivers must cath the theme or heart of the communication, what the sender wants to convey and how did you considered it is more important.
